Ad.Com sold for $1.4 Million. Problem?

“The Moniker auction did a total of 2.1M, two thirds of it was due to Ad.com domain sale”. And her response? It confirmed my initial thoughts. She said “So much for three letters?” And I said, “Please spell it for me?” and she said ” A D D DOT COM”. See, this domain, while short and relevant to the advertising industry, stands no chance in the radio test.

In my opinion, the problem is not as grave as Sahar expresses, but it's a problem nonetheless.

Having said that, considering that my former employer (Skenzo, Directi) has bought this domain, I'm pretty sure he has it in him to push up the value of this domain by 10x in no time. Not that he'll be looking to sell it anyway.

Then again, that's just my opinion. Congrats Divyank!
