An early, early morning phone conversation
So this awesome friend of mine called me from Bombay early this morning.
She: Aviiiiiiiiiiiiii
Me: Heyy
She: Guess what? I just got my first paycheck!!
Me: Oh really? damn cool.
..
..
Me: Wait, didn't you already get your first paycheck months ago?
She: Arre, I left that job before I got paid na.
Me: Ohhh.. okay.
She: What time is it there right now?
Me: 4:40 a.m.
She: That's okay, you were anyway going to wake up.
Me: Umm...
She: Acha now I gotta call everyone else and tell them. Byeeeeee
I love how random she is :)

Oh, yes - I remember people in my life like this. They often rely on the kindness of strangers. Sometimes they ask favors as if they are (of course) entitled to them, and I guess, in a way, they are. I myself cannot be this fresh and spontanious, but just being friends with someone who can might be more than enough. Funny, if you told her she is like a ray of sunshine, she probably wouldn't know what you are going on about. May she lead a charmed life forever.
